Zambian Friars in Zambia Project
Mission
Support compromised children attain a Grade 12 Certificate. This Certificate allows access to Tertiary or Vocational Training. Without the Grade 12 Certificate it is impossible to gain skills or enter college. Young women are the most vulnerable, especially marginalized girls, who withdraw from school to care for family.
Vision
Empower the poor women in our communities so that together we may improve the living standards in our communities through education, health care and nutrition. Enhanced literacy levels shall positively impact our target groups. Once women are empowered the society becomes a better place to live in.

- Education
- a. Primary School Education – Free Tuition for Classes at Francis can Center
- b. Build Schools in Rural Poverty Stricken Areas around Solwezi
- Farming – Chili peppers, beans and potatoes for market – irrigation system
- Healthcare – Focusing on reduced mortality rates of pregnant women
- Child Nutrition – Malnutrition due to behavior and food insecurity
Sustainability
200 Hectors of farm land is available to sustain the CWC with a 5 member Executive Board and over 40 women who have signed up to partner.
