Conv. who appointed Bro. Larry Eberhardt, O.F.M. Conv. as the first Archivist for the Province. Starting a cramped space in the Mission Advancement Office another space was found at the Mount in 1991. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.franciscansusa.org\/de\/about-the-province\/the-province-archives\/1991-construction-of-the-archives\/\">(For construction pictures click here.)<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.franciscansusa.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/schematic-of-stacks.pdf\">To get a rough idea of what kinds of items are in the stacks area click here.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.franciscansusa.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/Useful-items-to-keep-in-mind.pdf\">For information for people wishing to use the archives, i.e. rules and policies please click here.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Archives is located behind the Rotunda (2nd floor) and the Dining Hall (1st hall). One reaches the archives by driving around the old school building (Youth Retreat building), past the chapel, and as in the basement area in the next building extension\u2013under the 3 floors of retreat rooms. Hours vary but generally are 8:15 a.m. to about 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
