Geburtstag gratulieren! Helen und ihr verstorbener Ehemann Bill verkauften den Br\u00fcdern Anfang der 1960er Jahre das Grundst\u00fcck, auf dem sich heute das Franziskaner-Exerzitienhaus in Prior Lake, Minnesota, befindet. Als Bruder Urban Wagner das Grundst\u00fcck besichtigte und Bill und Helen nach ihrem Preis fragte, nannten sie ihm ihren Wunschpreis, woraufhin Urban bei sich dachte: \u201cMal sehen, dann k\u00f6nnen wir uns 30 Morgen leisten.\u201d \u201cNein, Pater\u201d, sagten sie wie aus einem Mund, \u201cSie wollen 60 Morgen.\u201d Im Grunde schenkten sie den Br\u00fcdern die zus\u00e4tzlichen 30 Morgen.<\/p>\n<p>Helen war bis vor wenigen Jahren eine aktive Teilnehmerin an den Exerzitien. Einmal erz\u00e4hlte sie Bruder Bob Roddy, dass die Br\u00fcder aus Chaska manchmal auf den Hof kamen und Bill beim Heumachen halfen. \u201cWenn ich einen Krug Tom Collins f\u00fcr sie bereitgestellt hatte, mangelte es uns nie an Hilfe\u2019, grinste sie.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The friars would like to wish friend and supporter, Helen White, a Happy 100 years!
