Just as with Bishop Ramirez in 1982, Bishop Oscar Cant\u00fa first met with the priests of the diocese at Holy Cross Retreat Center.\u00a0 We were happy to\u00a0host\u00a0the gathering when he could speak of his initial priorities–vocation promotion and collaboration with the priests, and respond to questions from the clergy.\u00a0 Holy Cross then provided a meal for everyone and a brief tour of the new friary under construction for those who had time.\u00a0 May the Lord bless Bishop Cant\u00fa with many years of compassionate and visionary ministry here.<\/em><\/div>\n
