M\u00e4rz 2015 als dritter Bischof von Lexington, Kentucky, vorgestellt und bekundete damit sein Engagement f\u00fcr Gottesdienst und Dienst. Er wurde im Katholischen Zentrum von Mitgliedern des Di\u00f6zesanklerus und den Laienmitarbeitern der Di\u00f6zese herzlich willkommen gehei\u00dfen. Seine Bischofsweihe findet am 5. Mai statt.<\/p>\n<p>Der designierte Bischof Stowe, ein Franziskanerbruder der Provinz Unserer Lieben Frau vom Trost, sagte: \u201cEin Jesuitenpapst namens Franziskus hat einen von Jesuiten ausgebildeten Franziskaner zum Bischof von Lexington ernannt.\u201d Er f\u00fcgte hinzu: \u201cAuf die Frage, ob ich die Einladung des Papstes annehmen w\u00fcrde, sagte ich, dass ich Papst Franziskus liebe und alles tun w\u00fcrde, was er von mir verlangt.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/eBFcMyS66_Y?rel=0\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Er zitiert h\u00e4ufig Papst Franziskus und bezieht sich auf dessen Apostolisches Schreiben., <em>Die Freude des Evangeliums<\/em>, Der designierte Bischof Stowe sprach mitf\u00fchlend \u00fcber sein Engagement f\u00fcr die Armen und Ausgegrenzten der Gesellschaft.
