Each month, we will take paintings by international artists as our inspiration. Visiting each continent, we will travel with brush and canvas through iconic landscapes and cultural landmarks. Our sessions last 3 hours, beginning at 6:00 pm and ending at 9:00 pm. Doors open at 5:30 for this paint-and-sip experience in the Pump House Studio on the campus of Mt. St. Francis. Tuition of $40 covers all painting supplies and refreshments, with participants providing beverages to share. All levels of ability are welcome. Enjoy a relaxing and fun evening hosted by Fr. Vince Petersen, OFM Conv.<\/span><\/h4><div class=\"w-person-role\" itemprop=\"jobTitle\">Painting Instructor<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"vc_col-sm-8 wpb_column vc_column_container\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><div class=\"wpb_text_column\" ><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><h4>Friar Vince Petersen<\/h4>\n<p>Friar Vincent\u202fPetersen\u202fis an environmental artist who works mostly in the acrylic medium.\u202f Since childhood, the beauty of the Earth held him captive.\u202f Growing up in rural Minnesota, he credits the shapes, seasons, dimensions, and moods of creation for coloring his understanding of God and spirituality.<\/p>\n<p>Friar Vincent&#8217;s work has been greatly\u202finfluenced by the landscapes of the Southwest\u202fwhere he was involved in ministry from 1997 to 2015.\u202f During a 2006 exhibition benefiting a local effort to preserve open spaces and vulnerable habitat in the area, his artistry was first noticed.<\/p>\n<p>Friar Vincent holds a Bachelor\u2019s degree in Studio Arts from St. Louis University and a Master of Divinity from the Washington Theological Union.
