Dear Friends,<\/p>\n

As Christ-followers and followers of St. Francis of Assisi, the call to preach and proclaim the Gospel is a vocation, a mandate from the Lord. The vocation of a preacher, particularly from a Franciscan perspective, is a profound calling that intertwines preaching the Word of God with the embodiment of His teachings in daily life. This vocation is not merely about speaking the Word but living it, much like Mary, who listened, pondered, and lived the Word of God.<\/p>\n

St. Francis, who lived the Gospel daily, saw God in all creation, showing love and respect to every creature. A preacher, therefore, is called not only to speak about love, peace, and justice but to manifest these values in their life, reflecting the true spirit of the Gospel. Proclaiming the Gospel calls for a life that radiates God\u2019s love and mercy, making the Word of God visible and tangible to others.<\/p>\n

Humility is a cornerstone of the Franciscan life, mirrored in Mary\u2019s humble acceptance of God\u2019s will. Preachers seek to remain humble, acknowledging that the Word they preach is not their own but God\u2019s. This humility allows them to be open to the Holy Spirit, letting it guide their words and actions.<\/p>\n

The vocation of a preacher from a Franciscan perspective is a calling that involves listening to, living, and preaching the Word of God, all while maintaining a posture of humility. It is a journey of embodying the Gospel, following in the footsteps of St. Francis of Assisi and Mary, and making God\u2019s love visible in the world.<\/p>\n

My dear friends, please join us in our missionary activities of proclaiming the Good News of Jesus to our divided world with prayer and material sacrifices. Thank you!<\/p>\n
