Mary was an ardent supporter of the Franciscans, especially Franciscan Retreats and Spirituality Center in Prior Lake, MN. Mary\u2019s relationship with the friars stretched from the days of Assumption Seminary in Chaska, MN in the early 1950s through today. A life-long Secular Franciscan, Mary radiated joy and enthusiasm for her Catholic faith to anyone and everyone. She was affectionately known as \u201cthe Shakopee Taxi,\u201d because she was always taking people to doctor\u2019s appointments, funerals, and retreats.
