MINISTRIES IN THE U.S.

We reach out to young and old, bringing inspiration to all who need compassion and spiritual guidance. The profound, yet simple, insight of St. Francis and the friars is to live the Gospel, the teaching and actions of Jesus, today in our world. The friars also bring this insight to their Franciscan ministries. The Evangelical life, living the Gospel, breathes new life into the Church and Franciscan ministries. The Franciscans were not founded for any other mission than to live the Gospel.

​Franciscan ministries flow from our prayer and fraternity. Francis said to the friars before he died: “I have done what is my part of doing, may Christ show you yours.” We reach out to the poor and marginalized in our world, bringing the Good News of God’s Love in Christ Jesus.

I Francescani Conventuali vivono oggi la loro missione di ricostruire la casa di Dio servendo nella Chiesa Cattolica Romana attraverso i ministeri francescani che includono missionari, studiosi, educatori, artisti, compositori, cappellani, confessori, avvocati, operai, insegnanti, scrittori, musicisti, cuochi, assistenti sociali, cappellani universitari, parroci, amministratori e difensori dei poveri e degli emarginati.
