Friar Paul Clark, OFM, Conv. holds a PhD in nursing (2010) as well as Masters degrees in nursing (2006) and theology (1997).  He is an Assistant Professor at the University of Louisville School of Nursing and Nurse Scientist at Baptist Healthcare – Louisville, KY https://profiles.louisville.edu/paul.clark.1. He teaches medical surgical nursing and facilitates nursing student clinical groups.  Paul’s research focus centers on Health Services Research, improving the safety and quality of in-patient care. Outside of healthcare, Paul is a Franciscan Brother in the Roman Catholic Conventual Franciscan Religious Order (Province of Our Lady of Consolation).  He was Assistant Director of Formation and Chair of the Initial Formation Commission from 2004 – 2010, and Secretary of the Province from 2010 – 2014.
