For nearly 100 years, the Chapel at Mount Saint Francis has stood as the spiritual heart of the Province of Our Lady of Consolation – a place of prayer, worship, beauty, welcome, and Franciscan life. Now, as the Province celebrates its 100th Anniversary, we invite you to help preserve this sacred place for those who will come after us.

As the Province of Our Lady of Consolation enters its second century, this campaign will help safeguard a sacred place that has formed friars, welcomed retreatants, and offered prayer and consolation to generations of people. A significant portion of what is raised in the campaign will support the restoration of all 35 historic stained-glass windows, imported from Germany and rich with stories of Franciscan faith, devotion, saints, and history. Through these needed repairs and improvements, Mount Saint Francis Chapel can remain a place of worship, welcome, and spiritual renewal for the next 100 years.
The Spiritual Heart of the Province
For generations, friars have gathered in the Chapel to celebrate Mass, pray the Liturgy of the Hours, and lift the intentions entrusted to them by friends and benefactors. Retreatants, students, families, pilgrims, alumni, and neighbors have entered this sacred space seeking quiet, healing, clarity, peace, gratitude, and hope. For nearly a century, the Chapel has carried these prayers. Now it needs our care.
