Posada Guadalupe
San Antonio, TX

Posada Guadalupe is a shelter in San Antonio, Texas whose mission, inspired by Matthew 25: “I was a stranger and you welcomed me,” is to offer hospitality to indigent immigrants.

We provide shelter to young men who immigrated to the United States as children, and have aged out of state run care, with nowhere else to go. We keep them from being homeless and on the right path by providing food, shelter, and social services.

YaFraM
Louisville, KY

Living with economic uncertainty, bombarded by bits and bytes of information, pressured by peers and the expectations of others – young adults today face challenges undreamt of by previous generations. The invitation of Jesus to his disciples has never been more necessary or welcome. YAFraM, Young Adult Franciscan Ministry, extends that invitation to young adults, no matter what particular faith tradition they belong to or where they are in their journey of faith. This ministry offers a chance to consider how faith, particularly the Christian Faith following in the path of St. Francis of Assisi, can help make sense of an often-confusing world.

Ysleta Mission – Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish
El Paso, TX

Ysleta Mission, along with the others, was established by Antonio de Otermín and Fray Francisco de Ayeta in 1680. Spaniards and Native Americans arrived here, then south of the Rio Bravo, in October 1680. They had fled or were forced to accompany the refugees of the Pueblo Revolt in Northern New Mexico.

Today our friars work in ministry at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish. Their mission is to be disciples of Jesus Christ, as good stewards of our faith, who are committed to live the Gospel and provide ministries and outreach that address the corporal and spiritual needs of the community.
