Join us for a soul-stirring afternoon of jazz, reflection, and spiritual resonance with The Dick Sisto Trio – Merton, Contemplation, & Jazz.

Led by renowned vibraphonist and composer Dick Sisto—personal friend and confidant of Thomas Merton in the 1960s—this performance weaves together original jazz compositions with the contemplative writings of Merton. The program will feature selections from the PBS documentary Soul Searching: The Journey of Thomas Merton, all composed by Sisto himself.

Enjoy two 45 minute sets with a break and light refreshments. The event will include live readings from Merton’s works and intimate personal reflections from Sisto, this unique concert promises to be a powerful tribute to one of the most influential spiritual voices of the 20th century.
