Join Us in 13 Tuesdays of Masses Honoring St. Anthony

On March 18, 2025, the Franciscan Friars of the Province of Our Lady of Consolation will begin 13 Tuesdays of Masses dedicated to St. Anthony of Padua—a beloved saint known for his unwavering faith, powerful preaching, and deep compassion for the poor and suffering.

The tradition of 13 Tuesdays dates back to the miraculous events surrounding St. Anthony’s passing in 1231, when a funeral procession held the following Tuesday led to widespread reports of healings and answered prayers. Since then, Tuesdays have been considered a special time to seek St. Anthony’s intercession.

A Sacred Time for Prayer and Reflection

During these 13 Tuesdays, our friars will celebrate Masses in honor of St. Anthony, offering prayers and reflections on his life, teachings, and miracles. We invite you to submit your prayer intentions, which will be placed on the altar of St. Anthony in the Chapel at Mount St. Francis, Indiana. These intentions will be included in the Liturgy of the Hours and the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the devotion.

Submit Your Intentions

We know that life is filled with joys and challenges, and through St. Anthony’s intercession, we find hope and grace. Whether you seek healing, guidance, or peace, this devotion offers a sacred opportunity to bring your needs before the Lord.
