Join us for our first-ever Raku Celebration—a day of creativity, fire, food, and fellowship. Whether you are an experienced ceramicist or simply curious to try something new, this event promises a hands-on artistic adventure you will not forget.

What is Raku?

Raku is a centuries-old Japanese pottery technique that brings together fire, earth, and spontaneity. Unlike traditional kiln firing, Raku pottery is removed from the kiln while still glowing hot and placed into sawdust, paper, or other combustibles. The rapid cooling creates dramatic crackles, metallic flashes, and smoky textures—making each piece completely unique.

It is not just about the art you take home—it is about the thrill of the process and the joy of sharing it in community.
