2026 Feast of the Epiphany Open House

Feast of the Epiphany Open House
Sunday, January 4, 2026 | 1:30–3:30 p.m.
Albert Leis Room, Mt. St. Francis Center for Spirituality

The friars of Mount St. Francis warmly invite you to join them for a special Epiphany Celebration and Open House on Sunday, January 4, 2026. The Feast of the Epiphany holds a meaningful place within the Franciscan tradition. Just as the Magi journeyed in hope, seeking the presence of Christ revealed to the world, Franciscans embrace Epiphany as a reminder of our own call to attentiveness, wonder, and openness to God’s guidance. The feast marks the manifestation of God’s love breaking into human experience—a theme that resonates deeply with the Franciscan commitment to humility, encounter, and joyful service.

During this open house, guests will have the opportunity to experience one of the friars’ beloved annual customs: selecting a patron saint and a Scripture quote card for the year ahead. This simple but powerful practice invites reflection, encouragement, and spiritual companionship throughout the coming year. Light refreshments will be provided.
