Fr. Jim Kent, OFM Conv., Minister Provincial for the Province of Our Lady of Consolation, won a first place award from the Catholic Press Association for his book review “Good news for the church: most priests are happy” which appeared in Horizon: Journal of the National Religious Vocation Conference.

The Judges said: Interesting topic. Nice Summation. Driven by a well-flavored personal slant. Tucked into a well-painted big picture for society, the church and world. Good news, to boot.
