Receiving and Returning: A Practical Theology of Estate Planning with Cameron Fathauer- June 9th, 2024

The Mission Advancement Office for the Conventual Franciscan Friars: Province of Our Lady of Consolation is hosting the workshop “Receiving and Returning: A Practical Theology of Estate Planning?” on three upcoming dates in Indiana. These workshops offer you the opportunity to ask questions from an expert, local attorney Cameron Fathauer, on a very important topic.  Up to 70% of Americans do not have an estate planning document like a will or trust in place.

While death is a difficult part of the human experience, planning for it does not have to be.

The goal for the presentation is to educate families and business owners on:

  • How to save money and avoid estate taxes
  • How to control your assets
  • The theological and constitutional background of estate planning
  • How to protect yourself and loved ones in the event of death or disability
  • Embrace your role as a receiver and recognize the opportunity to return and give back.

He received his J.D. from Indiana University’s Maurer School of Law in Bloomington, IN, where he was recognized as a Forrest E. Jump scholar.

Cameron founded a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization called Voice of TBI to brain injury survivors and caregivers. He and his wife have four children together named Scarlett, Albert, Charlee and Frankii – the latter of which are triplets. As a husband, father, Christian, and attorney, he is thankful to be where he is and looks forward to seeing where others can go!
