Community Pottery Studio Rental
The Clay Studio is a community-based pottery studio ideal for artists who are looking for a more community working environment. Community Pottery Studio Rental includes 24/7 access to the Clay Studio when classes are not in session and your own shelf storage space. In addition, we also have eight pottery wheels, three electric kilns, one salt/soda kiln, one gas kiln, one raku kiln, slab roller, and extruder.
Our Community Pottery Studio Rental is a unique opportunity, the monthly fee provides 24/7 access to a shared workspace, 8 pottery wheels, a clay extruder, limited storage, worktables, stools, 3 electric kilns, and a brand new gas-fired kiln all at your fingertips for one low price.The clay studio is next to a spacious covered outdoor kiln area and all of the pottery facilities reside on the gorgeous campus at Mount Saint Francis. Come join our supportive ceramics community of artists and students surrounded by a larger community of artists in our Calving Barn Studios, the Mary Anderson Center Gallery, and diverse art events and programming. Calving Barn Studios
The Calving Barn Studios are designed for a wide range of artists who need more space and/or privacy. The Calving Barn Studios has five private studios: four on the first floor and a large loft studio upstairs. The Calving Barn also has a small communal kitchen and bathroom. Spaces usually go quickly when they become available. If no rental spaces are available, we are happy to add your name to a waiting list.
Studio 2
Act fast! The Calving Barn Studios at Mount St. Francis offers 5 diverse studios for artists working in a community surrounded by beautiful natural surroundings. With a very reasonable monthly fee this space provides a beautiful private and serene space to expand your creativity and art form. It’s rare to have a studio become available, but Studio 2 has been freshly painted, has new LED lighting, a new sink, and a faucet, and is full of light from three windows. Common areas for use include a kitchen and bathroom with a shower, sink, and toilet.
