Since coming to New Mexico I have visited several of the Franciscan Missions in the area and I am intrigued by the long history of the Catholic Church and the Franciscans–earlier than the settlements in New England, and much earlier than those in California.
I am coordinating a four day pilgrimage for young adults March 25-28th with the campus ministry at NMSU, because this is their spring break. If you or someone you know might be interested and able to go, please contact me and I will explain it in more detail.
The cost ($175) is mainly to cover overnight stay and gas and some food. I am also thinking of leading one later for adults who can go during the week, and could include the missions in El Paso as well. If that sounds interesting let me know and we can work out the details.
