The Province of Our Lady of Consolation opened its quadrennial Chapter on Monday, May 12. Over the next few days, the Friars will elect a new Definitory, the six men who will lead the Province for the next four years.

In pre-Chapter voting, Fr. Jim Kent, OFM Conv., was re-elected as Minister Provincial. But the formal vote for the other members of the Definitory, will be completed this week.

The Chapter began with a Mass of the Holy Spirit on Monday morning. The Friars will honor 13 men who celebrate anniversaries of solemn profession or ordination this year at dinner Monday evening.
