This March, I will have the privilege of traveling to the city of St. Anthony, Padua, Italy, and will pray at the Shrine to this great intercessor. I will certainly be praying for all of you, those whose prayer and sacrifices make our ministries and our lives possible.
But I would like to do something more. I would like to present your prayers and petitions at the Shrine. Just as I did during the canonizations of Saints John XXIII and John Paul II, I would like to pray for your intentions during Mass at the Shrine. The power of prayer is abounding; last year after the canonizations, someone wrote that her petitionary prayer was answered when her brother-in-law was miraculously cured of cancer.
Please send us your petitions by filling out the form below. We will collect them, and I will carry them with me on this pilgrimage. And during my journey, I will be taking pictures and commenting on what I see and hear and do. You can follow it here on our website: FranciscansUSA.org
Thank you again for all you do for the Friars of the Province of Our Lady of Consolation. And please keep all of us, and me in my journey, in your prayers.
Peace and blessings,
Fr. Jim Kent, OFM Conv.
