Eight young men attended the Vocation Discernment Weekend at Mount St. Francis. Postulant Andrew Hennessy talked about beginning his journey, while friars Fr. Maurus Hauer and Fr. David Lenz talked about vocation as a lifelong journey.
Fr. Andrew Chewe Mukosa from Zambia, visiting at Mount St. Francis the week of April 8th, gave the young men a sense of the multicultural and international nature of Conventual Franciscan life.
Other friars making presentations were Fr. Andy Martinez, Br. John Maurer, Fr. Wayne Hellmann, Br. Larry Eberhardt, Br. Paul Clark and Fr. Paul Schloemer, who ended the weekend by talking about “A Future of Hope and Challenge.”
