Over the weekend of 14-16 December, six men joined us for a Vocation Discernment Weekend at Holy Cross Retreats in Las Cruces, New Mexico. In addition to presentations on discernment and formation (led by our postulant Andrew Hennessy,) Friar Vincent Petersen talked about Franciscans efforts of Peace and Justice, as well as art, Friar Miguel Briseño led a talk about religious priesthood, and Friar Nick Wolfla talked about exercising his religious brotherhood as a canon lawyer. Our next vocation event is our Come and See, 22-24 February in San Antonio, Texas.
