Prayer for the Return of Our Loved Ones to the practice of the Catholic Faith

Dear God and Father of Jesus,
We remember the urgent command you gave your people to Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength; and that our children must remember these words of freedom to the thousandth generation. With the passionate strength of your Holy Spirit, and in the Most Holy Name of Jesus, we beg you to send upon these our loved ones – (here named) – that flocking Spirit which listens for the voice of the Good Shepherd, and leads them to the altar and to your sacred banquet, in which Christ is received, the memory of his Passion is recalled, the mind is filled with grace, and the pledge of future glory is given to us.
